Mark Stephens B.A (Hons) Director
Mark Stephens has been involved in field archaeology throughout England and Wales since 1975. His work at MAP includes; directing, supervising, and reporting on excavations in Yorkshire and the North of England, including the major Late Iron Age / Romano-British site at Crossgates near Scarborough, and such multi-period, deeply stratified sites in York as St Saviourgate and Piccadilly. Mark is the director responsible for training in archaeological field techniques contributing to the creation of a team of well-trained archaeologists who are equipped to deal with any site and time scales that our clients request. |

Anne Finney MA (Hons)
With 26 years of experience, both at home and abroad, of which 18 years have been with MAP, Anne is involved with most aspects of commercial archaeology from Desk-Based Assessments through to Publication; as a Field Archaeologist she continues to Project Manage large scale developments with special emphasis on the aggregate industry. Originally trained as a Pre-historian Anne has more recently become heavily involved in Industrial Archaeology, undertaking a number of high profile industrial sites in the glass and refractory industries. |

Kelly Hunter BSc (Hons) MSc AIFA
Kelly Hunter has been with MAP for over 18 years. Her work has included; Desk Based Assessment, Historic Building Surveys, Environmental Impact Assessments. She has managed extensive urban and rural field evaluations and excavations. |

Sophie Langford, Office Manager.
I have worked for MAP since 1999 starting off as the Office Junior – now Office Manager. I am the first point of contact and deal with all queries in a friendly and efficient manner (so I am told!) and have built up good working relationships with our clients over the years. |
